I tired to start my 'Max after a two-and-a-half week hiatus, but the battery
seems low. I tried several times to start it, but it only caught on a couple
of times, then it died again. I then heard a pop, like a gunshot. This is
after I tried to start the bike with the choke on a few times and off a few
times. I also gave it some throttle during some of my tries.
Have I flooded the engine? Or can you do that with a bike? And, I hope I
didn't burn up the starter???
The battery is on a charger right now, so I'll try again in the morning.
