Struts 1.1 has been in beta/RC status for ...ever. <grin> As for Geir "disappearing", I'd say we just got spoiled with the amazing amount of time he used to spend on this completely volunteer project. I'd like to see the 1.3.x build get a 'final release' moniker too, but I doubt complaining to the "Apache leaders" and will enthuse Gier or any other sane volunteer to spend more time doing that work for free.
