With a stream side kit, if I were to put one together, would contain a cheap vise, decent scissors, and a bobbin w/ threader. I would also maybe bring some of those dubbing compartments, which have 12 different colors, and some assorted hackles(i would not bring an entire neck down there) Throw in some threads, and maybe some hair's of sorts, and feathers, and you could probably get by. Just my two cents worth, I dont have one compiled, but I know thats what I take with me when I go over to my friend's house to tie.

Subject: [VFB] stream side tying kit
Date: Wed, 18 Dec 2002 14:15:26 EST
I am wanting to set up a stream side tying kit to take with me. Any
suggestions on what to pack? I fish the NC/SC mountains and ponds and lakes
in the area. I dry / nymph / wet / terrestrial fish. I fish for brim ('gills)
and trout.
Any suggestions on how to go about this would be appreciated.
Regards,
Del
