Iain-
I'm with you on this one. I tie a lot and do variations on color, size, etc. They all go into a soft sided tackle bag with divided slide out trays that I use to stock a box at streamside. The bag pretty much lives in the car during the season and only comes in the house to restock it I've tried tying streamside or in camp, but I always seem to need something I didn't bring. I could bring a little of everything, but would need a kit the size of an old fashioned steamer trunk, which defeats the purpose.-John
I still dont understand why anyone ties at the waterside.
Tie more at home, carry some big fly boxes full of flies,
and fish at the waterside.iain
