The current issue of American Angler (Jan/Feb 2003) has an article on putting together a streamside tying kit by Dave(?) Klausmeyer. Part of the article is a review of commercially available kits, boxes, vises, etc, but there are also tips on how to select materials, stowage and so on.

No experiece with this as I have 15 boxes with me when I go out.Rick----- Original Message -----From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]Sent: Wednesday, December 18, 2002 1:15 PMSubject: [VFB] stream side tying kitI am wanting to set up a stream side tying kit to take with me. Any suggestions on what to pack? I fish the NC/SC mountains and ponds and lakes in the area. I dry / nymph / wet / terrestrial fish. I fish for brim ('gills) and trout.
Any suggestions on how to go about this would be appreciated.
