Personally I feel that you're best to get what fits your needs. If you have
no need for a multi piece (more then 2) then why get one? I bought a 5 piece
this winter for backpacking, I had a definite need for it. I can fit my 2
piece in my car just fine. Yes I think the 5 piece casts as well as many of
the 2 piece rods I've cast.
My opinions and nothing more
