I'm like Tony on this one. I have Single foot guides on my 4wt. & smaller rods. However on my Ocean/Big Freshwater Rods I have the standard Snake guides, I do not think single foot guide would hold up for me in the Surf or on a Large Salmon.... But for Walleyes the Single Foot Guides might be alright...
You should take that 8wt. when your done wrapping & coating it, go to the Danube River & strip Streamers for Huchen.....
