I am looking to produce some Spey flies that use a dubbing loop with arctic fox or rabbit strips. This may sound amateurish but I have never used a dubbing loop. Could someone help me?????

Keith,
Try this: http://www.roughfish.com/dubloop.html

Mmm. Soso.

One thing to add would be to close the loop's top end when overwrapping. You do this by making the loop (use your loop spinner at this stage already to keep the loop under tension), wrap 2 wraps to the rear, locking the loop, THEN take one wrap around the loop, and another around the shank.
