AMEN, I SAY - A-M-E-N !!!  I use a lot of stuff not standard to the FFW.  If it works for me, I use it.  Yep, and I'm working on a buzzbait for my bass fly rod.

What is so wrong with using flies tied on jig hooks? It seems like we have all kinds of ideas, but none of them include the actual use of jigs. I personally have several flies tied on jigs. I use 1/100th and 1/80 ounce on my 6'6" 3 wgt. and have no problems casting them. I also have some 1/64 th ounce that I use with my 7 wgt. I see nothing wrong with using an item that is not a "standard" in the fly fishing world. Kevin
