Too large and bulky. Ideally, you want a svelte setup for travelling, or at least something that folds or can be taken apart. Take a look at the Peak... Bulk isn't too much of an issue... I have a single tray tackle box that I am going to use for materials, tools, and the vice. My main two reasons that I think that the Dan-Vice might be a better choice it the weight issues and the rust factor.
