The adventure continues... :)
The WMV that I created on my editing machine is pretty big for 4
minutes of material, clocking in at 16 megs. I thought that I'd give
Windows Movie Maker a spin to handle the compression to WMV. Here's one
of the things that I don't understand. According to the Help menu on my
in Windows Movie Maker, I've got version 5.1 installed, but the
Microsoft website seems to talk about 2.1 being the newest version.
The problem with the one installed on my machine is that the export
operation has a wizard that I can't seem to shut off. It lists its 768
kpbs as being for LAN instead of for Broadband as mentioned in the Free
Vlog tutorial. No biggie, I figure it's the same thing - right? The
problem is that I have virtually no other options to adjust, including
output size which seems locked at 640 x 480.
I'd really like to get my interface to match up with what I'm seeing
the Free Vlog tutorials so I can get this bad boy done! ;) Any help
out there? Thanks so much.
