I've only done a little bit of testing so far.
The following map sources work fine for me:
Terraserver Topos (US Geological Survey Topographical)
Terraserver Aerial(Presumable USGS also)
OSM
OSM Cycle
OSM Mapnik
Terrraserver Urban Aerial - Initially did not seem to work, but later on
it did. Have not tried to repeat.
