I have a Mac LC 580 that has a built in Network Connection. Is it possible to connect to a PC Running Windows XP. I have a 3COM Homeconnect network running 3c450's but I was able to use a COMPAQ NC 3121 on the XP [it wouldn't accept the 3c450's]. It talks to the 3COM Router. Would it be possible to connect the Mac to one of the ports. I have two 15' Crossovers If I add a crossover connector in the middle I should end up with a 30' direct cable. The Mac is not close enough to my PC's to use shorter cables. Else can I connect directly to the XP Machine ???? Bob in Wisconsin
