A Veep!?! Why didn't you say so. You can always just disguise a couple of batteries to look like Jerry cans and hang them off the back for that nostalgic look.
A fellow on the list a few years back had a Veep. He brought it out to play when he was part of the Monster Garage VW build. Used to tune aftermarket EFI systems down in Cali as part of "Team God Speed".
