Glen,
The coil is another suspect. I put a spare one in the car (again a
Brazilian Bosch, secondhand in good shape, the same kind Im running currently)
to maybe swap it out to test on the road. But I was thinking, logically
speaking, should a coil not act up consistently rather than occasionally??
The car does run fine at low speeds I concluded today after noticing
closely how its behaving.
I have seen many quarters not advocating running the fuel line after the
fuel pump. The weight of the filter with the fuel can cause the pressed in
metal pipe fitting to work loose off the carb with disasterous consequenses.
Thanks for your ideas,
Asad
