I've never seen this trick in any documentation, and it produces
no effect on my iPhone 4S. Can anyone substantiate this? I've
seen it mentioned on the list a few times. Perhaps it only
applies to iPod Touches?

Hi,
A trick is to press the sleep wake button on the ipod five times
quickly, it should reset itself, and probably won't studder
anymore.
