I would make sure the school is doing everything they can to help. Also, try contacting as many people in the company because the person responding to you may not be the right person. Who knows, maybe someone on the development team might feel compelled to investigate making their app more accessible. Apple has not left developers in the dark when it comes to accessibility. I don’t know how large or small the company is but the person responding to you is giving you very generic answers without any real help as if they don’t actually have much of a say or understanding. I could be wrong though :) It’s just a guess based on my perceptions.
