QR, as in code, stands for quick response.
I had another go with Digit-Eyes yesterday, and still had no success.
I held the phone near the item and did get the initial single buzz telling me 
that it was ready to 
start work, but that was the only sound it made, so, obviously, I must be doing 
something wrong.
I did realise that I had the screen curtain on [I was getting bugged by moths 
of prodigious 
proportions when I turned the phone on at night and drawing the curtain removed 
that problem].
If it is that, it is strange that Tap Tap See is not affected, but it is still 
taking photos and 
having them described with no problem.

Richard you are correct. Products purchased in stores have UPC barcodes. I 
don't know what a QR code 
is or where this code may be used.
