I am not a fan of face ID. I would rather stick with touch ID. However, how
many times has touch ID failed you? I have certainly had failed me. I have to
enter my passcode from time to time, because the phone hasn’t recognize the
finger that is in there for touch ID. This really sounds like a mountain out of
a mole hill to me. If you think about all the times everybody who has a touch
ID phone has had that not work for them on one occasion or another, we could
string lots of anecdotes together I’m quite sure. So let’s get real. I think
there should be an alternative. We shouldn’t be forced to use Face ID, but
Apple thinks otherwise. Buy an iPhone 8 if you want. But sooner or later, he
will be using something besides touch ID if you want to stay with Apple.
