No.  I do apologize Katrina for giving you misinformation about the
gestures.  Besides doing the gestures for control center and
notifications, or Siri, those are the only ways that I know of.  I've
never used the scrub gesture before.  I've got a great braille
keyboard called the Hable One that is bluetooth which allows me to do
all kinds of things like check the status bar, go to control center,
check notifications, activate Siri, make phone calls, go to my home
screen, double tap and hold when using apps like bard express, call
phone numbers by using the braille number sign and typing in numbers,
and so much more.
