Thanks! May reinstall Skype for iOS then as I thought it did not support
push at all, hence me deleting it. But before I do, can I have Skype
running, then lock the phone and still receive push?

Also one big advantage Skype has over Viber is that the Windows versions and
Mac versions of Skype are accessible, but the Windows and mac versions of Viber

Also, the reason why all your contacts are imported into Skype is because they
want you to use their calling features for calling other phone numbers. This is
an area Viber isn't in right now so it's understandable they are doing it the

1. It offers push notifications compared to Skype.
2. Unless specified otherwise, only contacts that use Viber appear in your
list. With Skype you can import your contacts, but all will be shown regardless
if they are using Skype.
