A long time ago, Bill Beaty commented on this problem - and the recent report on DNA segments 'just knowing where to go' illustrates the issue. You have positive and negative charges, attraction and repulsion and this is nowhere even close to explaining how the right chemicals get attached to the right receptors amidst thousands or millions equally equipped with a willing charge. Sure, biochemistry exists ----- but a big mystery exists at its heart.
