"Why would it cause textbooks to be rewritten? Energy from gravity is already
done via tidal energy. There's nothing to see here unless it's economical.
We already have many forms of energy that generate power in ways that aren't
economical. Who cares if we have yet one more (and a seemingly terrible one at
that)."
Work from gravity is only known to work where potential energy in converted,
like water from a dam.
Tidal power uses the gravity of the orbiting moon.
No one has ever managed to build a perpetual motion machine although
many have tried for centuries.
Conservation of energy is a very fundamental principle of physics
although there is no proof of the theory it is just from observational
data. The principle is used in many proofs and the whole scientific
world would be turned upside down if the RAR gravity engine works.
