To put all of this into proper perspective, none of it should not be happening
today.

On January 14, 2011, Rossi gave his first public demonstration of E-Cat. He
claimed at that demo that he was generating 15 kW output thermal from P-in of
400W electric. Many did not question this. In another test shortly thereafter -
he claimed that 12 kW was coming from 80 watts in. He claimed a cell had run
for 6 months continuous, with long spans requiring no input power. He said he
had built hundreds of them and was ready for robotic mass production. He was
seeking a deep pockets backer, and essentially as a collective “we” helped him
succeed with that goal.

Did “he play us”? – “us” being the loose-knit group which had been following
LENR for 20+ years and can provide expert vetting –usually free vetting based
on a desire to find a solution to the energy crisis. Is he still playing us now?

In retrospect - there were only a few issues to be resolved with this 2011 test
– which are known today as “steam-versus-hot-air”… and they could have been
remedied for less than the cost of the airfares to Lugano. We should have known
the true answer to E-Cat by summer 2011. Ask yourself this: if AR was truthful
then, then why are we here now?

To be honest, I wish AR had gone under the radar 18 months ago, rather than
present this report, which impugns the whole field in the eyes of many
scientists who had tried to keep an open mind - but an ego that large could not
be held back. He needs the attention. One suspects that he will get more now
than he bargained for.

It depends on if they really thought it compromozied the integrity. If you run
the test for 30 days at COP 3-4 you may well relax on this point arguing that
it would be insane of Rossi to try play a trick then, risking getting caught.

They compromised the integrity of the report because they were afraid to handle
