I think you mean "right thinking technologist" (person). I agree completely.

LENR is indeed stranger than any fiction or science fiction I have read. I
fear it may be so far ahead of its time we may not be able to understand
it. That remains to be seen.

Arthur Clarke wrote about how Franklin and others from the past might
respond to seeing modern technology. They would have no trouble
understanding something like a helicopter, but a computer or a nuclear
power plant would mystify them. This was the basis for his "law" that any
sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.

I hope that we can learn what makes cold fusion not magic.
