Technically yes, but it sort of eminated from V crashing when writing to
cache for some and causing invalidated/corrupt partitions.  Several
suggested alternate filesystems as a solution, but as with anything there
are always caveats to watch out for.  Loss of data is rarely a good thing.

That's how we got here.  But I think this issue has been explored pretty
thouroughly and should be dying off now.  Everyone now knows what their
options are and has been warned of potential problems.
