I agree wholeheartedly!
I love my ZIP, even if it does give the "click of death" at times.
Did last night, disconnected it, hooked it up to the MAC at school,
always works fine, and then shoved the machine back on my 3000.
Works with no problem now. ONLY time it seems to do this is when
it is VERY hot, like yesterday.... topped out at about 34C!!!!
Many people had computer problems yesterday, so I was told by the
computer tech at school today...
By the way, I have THREE full backups of my workbench on 3 ZIP
disks... AND, I bought a $10 SCSI 250 meg hard drive that I put it
on too and can shove the thing into my machine any time I have a
problem... Yes, I am paranoid... I have lost too many drives
to crashes over the years... I refuse to have a problem again...
