>From the female flyfisher's point of view:

My spouse enjoys flyfishing - but is not the fanatic I am.
He does enjoy being in the outdoors so accompanies me on
some of the longer trips. Generally, though, when I say
"I think I'll go fishing" he says "Have a good time."

Some of the guys have talked about giving your spouse gifts
or space. A better way to put it is that if you do everything
in your power to make her happy, she is very likely to do
the same back.

If you live in the Seattle area, she's welcome to come find
out what the gals like about flyfishing at the next meeting
of Northwest Women Flyfishers (March 21 at 6:45p.m. in a
meeting room at REI).

Good fishin'

Subject: Married?

I have been on this list for about six months and I am amazed at the amount
of times many of you are able to fish. Being married to a woman that hates
fishing (had I been seduced by the busty mistress commonly known as fly
fishing before we met I might not have been able to say "I do" at the alter)
I find it hard many times to get permission to go fishing. As I read the
E-mails of many of you and the frequency of which you are able to go fishing
I find myself extremely jealous, and I ask only one thing of you blessed
people. Please tell me how you get permission from your wives! Any and all
excused would be greatly appreciated.

        Thanks.
        Spencer
