I second that (if you can pull it off). I got my wife hooked on the sport and
now we share the experience. I tie the flies and she builds the rods. Every
free minute we fish. All our vacations are fishing vacations. The trick is to
get her hooked. I found I needed to be very patent and start slow. When we
first started she only wanted to fish maybe 30 minutes. Drove me nuts. She
then found what we all love about the sport and we now go out for hours/days .
