sorry keith...i cant help you out there.  i know of a great movie though...but you probably already saw it. im not sure if it was from a book or not.  "a River Runs Through it"  with brad pitt and tom skeritt. great flick if you havent seen it. if your interested in good reading on male type subjects i can give you some info. i have found an author who writes short stories about the civil war. most have twisted endings...meaning you cant figure them out till the end. the writer was a topographical officer for the union army. so the scenery descriptions put you right there!!  should be able to find them at the library.  the authors name is Ambrose Bierce. my favorite title of his is "Tales of Soldiers and Civilians" . i think youll find some very intense and interesting reading there...but no fishing.   kevin s
