On Saturday 03 November 2001 12:58 pm, Keith Ayers rambled unforgivingly: > I'm looking for some recommendations on fishing related books. Not > instructional books but stories. I have read pretty much everything > Haig-Brown ever wrote. I just finished "Salmon without Rivers". I have > read some books about Zane Grey's fishing adventures. I read Bob Arnold's > "Steelhead & the Dry Line-A Meditation". I found Bob's writing style hard > to follow but still a good book because he talks about a lot of the places > I fish. One of my favorite books I've read recently was "The River Why?". > Forgot who the author is.
You ought to get Fly Fishing the Olympic Penninsula, it sounds like a how to book, and on one level it is, but on another its just a group of stories about flyfishing on the Olympic Penninsula. It was my last read, and I loved every story in it. Rob -- Rob Blomquist Kirkland, WA
