This comment might hold true to some, but for me it depends on the pattern I happen to be tying. Most flies, after having mastered some of the idiosynchracies of the system (both the vise and bobbin) take me no longer than they used to on my HMH or Dyna King. For other patterns like wooly buggers and egg-sucking leeches, it has been a BIG time saver. For example, the system helped me shave over 7 minutes off a fully weighted, size 2 egg-sucking leech.
