Politics aside, the real issue is do we want our wild salmon and 
steelhead back and is Babbit correct? If you believe that we 
taxpayers can afford to subsidize these few farmers and are willing 
to purchase replacement electricity than this is what we should 
concentrate on.

Which president and administration did what and when they did it 
doesn't resolve anything. It simply obfuscates the issue and turns 
meaningful recommendations into meaningless name-calling.
