I'd say the big plane is approaching---and it's filled with plastic
fish.
The current administration is the current administration, therefore, it
is the only administration that has a chance to respond to the public.
I'm thinking that the administration has a constitutional
responsibility to protect public lands and waters---including that which is
endemic to these lands and waters.
About the only real opportunity I feel can be effective in defeating
the perpetrated and systematic onslaught toward our environment is a massive
counter-attack by each person---making it a day at a time priority to give
continual voice in opposition---however one sees fit.
My opinion voiced here is not in dis-respect for those whom have chosen
to think differently than I, nor is it in dis-respect for the current
administration. However, the onslaught is real and needs to be addressed in
real terms. In short, the fish need our collective efforts.

The difficulty with this issue is that in order to even talk about this
subject we would have to pretend that all politicians are equal when it
comes to the environment and fish. And that just is not true. Fact is
that
some folks are in deep denial. The Koolaide probably tastes like Pepsi to
them. Being polite is one thing, but if we have to pretend that this
administration is not waging a war on the environment, then lets also
pretend that a big plane will land and bring back the fish some day soon.
To
avoid environmental policy, but to assert one is pro-fish is delusional .
.
. and itself fanatically partisan.
