Hi Shay

I've been silently following this thread and agree wholeheartedly that it
would be a great idea to instigate such an award. It is obvious from the
posts that Daniel Kerr has well and truly shown himself to be a best of
breed amongst Apple Reseller's and people like him deserve to be recognised.

In my opinion however this idea could even be taken a step further. What
about a national award scheme where each Australian MUG can vote for their
favourite reseller. This way even smaller MUG's could show their
appreciation and present individual group awards to the reseller who has
done most to help their members. These winners could then go on to be
recognised in a further round of voting with state and national "Preferred
MUG Reseller of the Year" awards.

With the right structure perhaps we may even be able to get Apple to come on
board and turn this into an annual event and gain valuable media exposure
both for these valued resellers and for MUG's as a whole.

If anyone has any thoughts one way or the other feel free to contact me off
list. It would be great if we could actually get something like this
happening.

Thanks
