Bill I understand having confidence in your SMS is critical for your important
work.

I'm thinking of ways to reset your SMS messages

Have you quit out of Messages. Double click the home button and swipe up on the
app you want to quit. That might help you find or clear the green light.

Have you turned on then off airline mode. That resets the connection to the
phone network.

Have you space on the phone to receive messages? For a while I set my iPhone to
fill empty space with music, but found I couldn't take more than one photo.

Finally, you could try removing and reinstalling the sim card.

Do regular SMS come through, or is there just a problem with the group sends?

There is nothing to be lost by a restore. Do a backup first, and follow the
prompts. It takes a while.

Hope these help.

Tim
