You need to log an "extended log" to create one report with it all - 
errors get short shrift.  The company I work at had no idea of 
"referer logs" until I began to work there. I then learned of the 
extended log and wrote the line in the conf file to create the 
extended log which is a combo of the referer and access (I wonder 
what would happen if I put errors in that?).

I give up.  I just let it go.  In most cases the other person really 
doesn't want to know. Rather, they really want to know why I can't be 
a part of the "Microsoft Solution".  I went to Promus Company once to 
interview for a temp job. I sort of knew I was doomed when they said 
they were a "Microsoft Solution" company.
