     Well... if you add an ID to the URL, and hit a CGI on the receiving
site... that is one way; but you have to have control over both sites.
    http://www.site-A.com/cgi-bin/whatsis.cgi?urb
or
    http://www.site-A.com/cgi-bin/whatsis.cgi/urb

     If you only have control over the receiver, look for the sending page
in the server logs.  http://www.mall-net.com/webcons has a section on what
can be done.  You can simply grep your logs for the sites you are looking
for, and process them further.

     (I also process logs, write CGI stuff, etc.)

     Cookies... I am not supposed to eat, so I don't know enough about
them... but will have to use them on a site very soon...
