It is not clear whether there was some encouragement before or after
the fact. But I do believe she acted properly in exposing a huge national
security problem!

There are three points.
One, he lied to the public, and apparently in the legal sense of
perjury. (Either that, or he makes Ronald Reagan look like a Master of
Memory!)
> And not one iota of it has anything to do with the job itself.
Excuse me? The other problem, now resolved, was being subject to
BLACKMAIL! (No more!?) Buchanan (who'm I do not particularly like,)
pointed this out, so now I feel that I can talk about it. THE NUMBER ONE
DISQUALIFICATION for any kind of security clearance or high office, is
ability to be "influenced" -- BLACKMAILED!
Buchanan questioned whether some of the slack-off on Saddam, or the
release of key technology to the Chinese over the objections of the
Pentagon and the State Department, many have been due to blackmail.
Neither Buchanan nor I claim to know. But the potential is there, and it
is a Security NIGHTMARE!!!
Growing up in an immigrant family, being around former freedom
fighters, (underground warriors,) many of whom became very dedicated
defense workers, I well know this is exactly what the soviets were always
looking for to turn people into spies and saboteurs. And they are not the
only ones! The other thing soviets sought, were relatives to torture and
kill. I know some people who lost their relatives that way because they
were too outspoken against the soviets. This is no game with genteel
drawing room rules. This is real life, and it gets Very Bloody when
ideologies and world class egos meet!
The news pro-impeachment tele-poll line is constantly busy!

What about insisting on giving missile technology to the Chinese?!
That was in the New York Times! That is close to treason, and will be
paid for by American lives in the next war. History shows there will
always be a next war.

This IS the nation's business, above and beyond the routine decision
making called for by our chosen representatives. We need to know whom we
have chosen, and need to give our elected representatives some indication
as to how we want them to act. This is OUR nation, not the president's.
The third point is that he is there to represent us to the world.
Just look at what a mess this idiot created! We, the people of the United
States have egg all over our face thanks to the mindless sexual activities
of this man, and his perversion of the English Language. As if previous
two points are not enough to throw him out of office on his ear, this one
certainly is!!!
I just hope we do not over-react in the next election, and chose
someone as narrow as a religious fundamentalist like Buchanan! Or a
mindless moralist peanut farmer who does not understand the meaning of
inflation! America has shown that it can overlook many of the foibles of
a Dynamic Leader. or a Sound Strategist. We need a President who can lead
us to the Future, not the bordello; a Human who can make us proud to be a
Nation of Character and Ability, not embarrassed with our vital democratic
processes.
In an era of Kings, America gave the world Democracy. Let us not
defame it; but promptly replace this unfit person and get on with building
the future.
