Corel has brought out it version of Office in Linux. Also, the Red
Hat CD comes with various software products for X-windows including
editors. They also have added a windows like system called Gnome.

I would highly suggest buying the Red Hat CD and reading the inclosed
installation guide before starting. Though installing Red Hat is
usually no more difficult than Windows 95.

As to the rest of the debate. The town that holds all the material
required for Bill Gates' new home for the permit process needed to
computerize the files, including the 3 file cabinets of drawings,
approvals, etc. on Bill's new home. They chose Linux. As the IT
manager stated, if he needed a new driver or fix a problem with Linux
it would just require a message on the appropriate news groups. With
Microsoft, he would have to wade through the MS Technical Support,
which could take weeks.
