That sounds like a good idea. Most school districts are strapped for
funds and things like infrastructure maintainance and training are not
high on the priority scale.
There have been some business involvement in the San Diego area where
volunteers use donated material to wire schools for internet access.
That is great; however, the schools are left to fund the computers and
the teacher training.
Still, there is no cohesive plan on how to use computers in a learning
environment.
