Floppies from wintel machines with long file names get truncated on the mac
pre OS8.1 -- don't ask why, I don't know why -- somehow the mac could only
read the "DOS" part of the name. The long file name on Win95 is an ALIAS --
the DOS name still exists and is the "real" name.
