Absolutely! We are responsible for the future. By our thoughts, our
imagination, our deeds, our prayers, our actions.

Another very impressive example is the MoveOn.org movement, which seems to
influenced the recent move of the Republican party leadership from left
towards center and their backpedaling away from impeachment. How can
politicians ignore a barrage of emails from over 250,000 people asking them
to start using their time to run country instead of running the President
out of office. I know that a lot of WC members don't approve of
MoveOn.org's motives, but no one can argue the power of such a
well-orchestrated Internet political movement, especially considering how
little the campaign cost in comparison to conventional media advertising.
(MoveOn was initiated by the founders of Broderbund Software, btw)
And still another is increasing economic interdependence

I have marvelled at the local grass roots efforts to aid the hurricane
damaged Central American countries. The local Air National Guard Armory has
been swamped with donations. Perhaps catastrophes such as these help us to
realize that we are all one people?
