There are a few free (or shareware) perl programs out there that

look in the category for mailing list, autoresponders, or e-mail,
don't remember which.
There are also a few PC based ones.. I think you could find those
at http://davecentral.com
If you don't find what you want there let me know. I tend to hoard
programs I think are good and I probably have it on my drive
somewhere.
