Hi Urb,
Thanks for your comments. I have two problems: I know nothing about
programming perl or how to set up a perl script on a web server. And my
client's web site is hosted on a service which does not allow cgi access.
So I assume I would have to move the web site, and they've just renewed
their yearly hosting contract.
Note: size of the list would start at about 500 names and grow from there.
It would probably be a few years before it exceeded 10,000.
Others on web-consultatns have suggested majordomo. Again, my lack of
knowledge as to how to set up and run such an application works against me.
I've asked some people for quotes on doing it.
