You get used to it. As a member of several global virtual teams, I'm quite
used to teleconferencing at 4am. I even have my watch (a dual timezone GMT
Master) permanently set to US EST as well as local time. I also have two
different world time programs. GeoClock shows the time zones all around the
world at that moment, plus has a whole database of maps. When I had a
conference in Stamford last year, I just drilled down in the maps to see
how to get there from JFK. The other is a DOS program that displays a
limited subset of cities, but lets you sppol through so you can see what
times it's going to be there when its X o'clock here. Life in a
multinational...
