I posted a list of questions which of course was quite short of
complete, of course. A big audience I didn't mention was people with
disabilities.

At work I do html coding by "hand" with Textpad and of course I am
quicker than anyone with visual editors. I will often have to edit
code on the server that some designer created. Ugggh... what a mess,
what an absolute mess. These people design as if there were no
tomorrow. I can imagine the time when we will want to reposses the
data which has been imprisoned in such sloppy code. I imagine that
you ought to be able to run a script that would traverse your website
and extract all the data and place it all in a database. Doing that
with the sort of code created by most visual editors would be a
nightmare.
