Re: the topic of this thread, to cater to folks that don't have javascript
capabilities, you'd have to do this with something that ran on the server
side (perl, etc), eh?

Only problem I have with selects as nav is that there's no way of knowing if
you've been somewhere already, unless you write some extra script stuff to
track and mark the visited items in the select list (which I rarely, if
ever, see).
