Ain't that the truth! Just last week I was forced to email the so-called
computer expert who writes for the SF Chronicle. Someone had asked him the
difference between 256 colors, 16 bit, 24 bit, etc. He followed his
explanation of 24 bit an the ill-informed comment about how he just couldn't
understand why anyone would need all those millions of colors. Well, duh,
try learning a little bit about graphics for print production before putting
yourself out there as an "expert."
