I did the same thing - even my official adobe betatest cd had expired
before my official release came in the mail!

I love em ;) Make the different layers in photoshop for the animation,
then use each layer as a diff animation frame.

Well, I get around that by not exporting my gifs from Photoshop, but
instead by opening my PSDs directly in Imageready. Then I can use all the
layers I want, transparent or whatever.

I would wonder why, if you have Imageready, you're doing your gif
exporting from Photoshop? Imageready's gif saving is far superior. Or am I
missing something here?
